Stoyanova O.V. Differentiated approach to treatment of patients with different forms of rosacea depending on the evidence of immunopathologic reactions.   Manuscript. Dissertation for the degree of candidate of medical sciences in the specialty 14.01.20 – skin and venereal diseases. – Institute of Dermatology and Venerology of AMS of Ukraine, Kharkiv, 2007.

The dissertation focuses on the improvement of complex therapy of patients with different clinical forms of rosacea, depending on the evidence of changes in the immune system. The changes in the immune system are proved to be present in patients with rosacea (inflammation, allergization, autoimmunization). The inflammatory process in patients with rosacea is detected to be especially evident at inflammatory and late forms of the disease because of a high level of antiinflammatory cytokines IL-1, IL-6 and their soluble receptors and C-reactive protein level. It is shown that the level of the number of autoantibodies to the tissues of skin, liver and pancreas is the highest at the late form of rosacea beginning its grow from the inflammatory form.

It has been detected evident allergization of a high degree in the groups of patients with vascular and inflammatory forms of rosacea; which is proved by a high level of LgE – general and allergenspecific. Proceeding from the obtained data we developed and provided individualized treatment that included. Skinoren-gel, Fexofast, Erbisol depending on the evidence of the immunopathologic reactions in different clinical groups.
