Maksymuk O.Yu. Acute disorders in retinal vein circulation: pathogenesis, clinics, diagnostics, medical and laser treatment. – Manuscript. Thesis for a doctor’s degree by speciality 14.01.18 – ophthalmology. – The Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy, Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Odessa, 2007.

The thesis deals with the problems of increasing effectiveness of treatment of acute disorders in retinal vein circulation by means of studying peculiarities of microcirculatory and coagulative disorders, peroxide oxidation of lipids, peculiarities of clinical course, fluoresceinangiographic changes and grounds for pathogenetic treatment.

In experimental research it is recommended to use the developed by us model of retinal vein occlusion which is noninvasive and reproduced the classical course of the disease with all its typical signs. The usage of polypeptide preparations Vermilat and Erbisol in treatment of retinal vein occlusion is experimentally grounded. Selective laser coagulation is proposed for treatment of acute disorders of venous circulation in retina. In order to increase the effectiveness of treatment patients with acute disorders of venous circulation in retina a new method has been proposed which includes pathogenetic correction of main links of this disease by using a direct action anticoagulant Fraxiparin, Tyklid and Plavix, disaggregates, Erbisol, polypeptide preparation in combination with new laser methods of selective coagulation of pigmental epithelium of retina in complex treatment.

Key words: retina, acute disorder of venous circulation, fluorescent angiographia, hemostasis, experimental research, selective laser coagulation.
