The dissertation is devoted to studying of the age changes of adenohypophysis under the normal condition, the chronic lead intoxication and its pharmacorrection. Using the complex methods (light and electron microscopy, morphometry) the age features were analyzed, is established that the chronic lead intoxication causes as dystrophic and destructive changes of adenohypophysis and regenerative processes. The degree of the changes depends on duration of administration of lead to the organism. It has been determined quantitative indices characterizing damage and compensation processes in adenohypophysis. α-tocopherol application considerably reduces destructive changes, but erbisol provides the most protective effect on all structures of adenohypophysis.
