Andybura N.Yu. Morphofunctional state of suprarenal gland under lead exposure and during pharmacological correction. – Manuscript.
Dissertation for the degree of candidate of medical sciences in the specialty 14.03.09 – histology, cytology, embryology. – Crimea State Medical University named after S. I. Georgievsky, Simferopol, 2005.

The thesis is devoted to revealing and studying of the morphofunctional changes of suprarenal gland on lead treated male-mice of second generation of BALB/c line. It is experimentally established that the chronic lead intoxication results in dystrophic and necrotic changes of parenchymal cells, disturbance of the hemodynamic and morphogenesis, activation of the fibroblasts. The degree of expressiveness of this changes is determined by the duration of administration of this metal to the organism. It has been determined qualitative and quantitative indices characterizing alteration and compensation processes in suprarenal gland. Diminishing of destructive changes due to administration of alpha-tocopherol was proved. Erbisol provides the most protective effect on all structures of suprarenal glands.

Key words: suprarenal gland, lead, alpha-tocopherol, erbisol, 3H- thymidin.
