Based on the results obtained, a combined method for AA therapy was developed with an account for individual features of clinical running, immunological disorders present, and the presence of accompanying chronic infection, H. pylori in particular. It included a set of measures directed towards normalization of immune status with a use of an immunomodulator Erbisol and eradication of helicobacter gastric infection using a triple therapy with omeprasol, clarythromicin and metronidasol.
The therapeutic method proposed ensured regressing clinical signs and symptoms and had a higher efficacy. Thus, a complete cure rate grew up from 10% to 67%, a recurrence rate lowered down from 27.5% to 9.8% with mean follow-up term of 4 years.
